Lawsuit Claims Fantasy Jungle Failed to Pay
An Illinois man has filed suit against the site Fantasy Jungle, claiming that it has failed to pay him winnings due from last football season.
The complaint, which was reportedly filed in St. Clair County circuit court on Aug. 12, alleges that Fantasy Jungle owner Mike Williams contacted Jared Danielson in December to inform Danielson that he had won. According to the suit, Danielson chose to take a cash prize rather than allow the site to withhold the money to pay entry into future contests.
The suit claims that Danielson was later told via e-mail that his check would be sent out in February. Six months later, that check allegedly has yet to arrive.
The report doesn’t specify how much Danielson is seeking in the suit, though it does say that he’s asking for “unspecified damages, plus attorney’s fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.”
